Backend Engineer – AI Integrations

  • 2+ years building and operating production backend systems, mainly in TypeScript/Node.js
  • Experience with Elixir/Phoenix, or Python
  • Hands-on experience building on top of LLMs
  • Experience integrating with third-party APIs, including REST, SOAP, OData, OAuth2, and webhooks
  • Solid grasp of queue-based and distributed systems: idempotency, retries, dead-lettering, and backpressure
  • Track record of taking systems from development to production and running them with good operational practices
  • Strong understanding of performance monitoring, logging, and observability
  • Experience scaling and optimizing relational databases
  • Comfort working async in a remote-friendly setup
  • English proficiency (B2 or higher)
