Data Engineer

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT pipelines, and relational databases
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling (dimensional, 3NF, Data Vault), and schema design
  • Experience with ELT pipelines and metadata-driven transformations
  • Knowledge of data quality frameworks: DBT, DVT, or custom SQL/Python validations
  • Experience integrating data from multiple heterogeneous sources (databases, flat files, APIs, logs)
  • Strong understanding of partitioning, incremental loads, and optimization for large datasets
  • Experience with data warehouse/lakehouse platforms: BigQuery, Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata
  • Experience working on data migration projects between database engines
  • Familiarity with analytics and BI tools: Power BI, Tableau, Looker
  • Knowledge of data governance, lineage, monitoring, and alerting
  • English proficiency (B2 or higher)

Bonus: experience with public sector/operational datasets or real-time KPI pipelines
